BIG BLOW! BEN STOKES AND GUS AKTINSON DROPPED: HAS CONTROVERSY HIT ENGLAND CRICKET AGAIN?

    THE ENGLAND AND WALES CRICKET BOARD HAS OFFICIALLY DROPPED REGULAR CAPTAIN BEN STOKES AND FAST BOWLER GUS AKTINSON FROM THE SQUAD FOR THE UPCOMING SECOND TEST MATCH. 

        England cricket fans have been hit with a massive bombshell. The celebration from the win against Newzealand at Lord's have quickly turned into a crisis for the team management.


     NEW CAPTAIN AND CHANGES IN SECOND TEST MATCH

     The disciplinary decision means former skipper JOE ROOT will return to lead the side as interim captain. 

         Joe root who stepped down from the role in April 2022, will lead the side once again zo steady the leadership.

          Fast bowler Jofra Archer and wicket keeper batter Jordan Cox add in the squad.

          The incident has raced serious question mark over BEN STOKES future as England skipper. This is not his first brush with off field trouble; fans will remember his high profile suspension following the Bristol nightclub incident back in 2017

Cricket pundits are already speculating that under immense scrutiny, STOKES might consider stepping down from the test captaincy permanently or even contemplating an early retirement from international cricket.
