 THE BIGGEST WORLD CUP IN HISTORY KICK OFF JUNE 11, 2026

        Football's biggest party is back. The 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP will be the first ever 48 target tournament and the first world Cup hosted by three countries, USA, CANADA AND MEXICO. From June 11 to July 19, 104 Matches will decide who lifts the trophy at met life stadium, New Jersey

This is also the first World Cup since 2002 to have matches across multiple time zones and the longest world cup ever 39 days.

    2.  NEW 48 TEAM FORMAT EXPLAINED

  FIFA CHANGED THE FORMAT 2026::


1. GROUPS.     12 Groups of 4 teams each

2. GROUP STAGE.    Top 2 from each group + 8 best 3rd placed teams qualify for knockouts. 

3. NEW ROUND OF 32.  For the first time there's a round of 32 between group Stage and Round 16

4. NO PENALITIES IN GROUPS.  Group games can't end in shootout. Knockout have 30 min extra time than penalities.
