Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the youngest player ever sold in IPL history at age 13. Rajasthan Royals bought him for ₹1.10 crore in IPL 2025 Mega Auction, beating intense bidding from DC & MI.

Born in Tajpur village, Bihar, he started playing with older boys at age 7. His father, a farmer, built a makeshift pitch at home. At 12, he was already scoring centuries in U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
