       5. ENGLAND'S STRUGGLES

England batted well in patches but collapsed against spin twice. Nat Sciver-Brunt 78 and Heather Knight 64 went in vain. England now need to win 2nd Test to draw series.

  6. WICKETGLOW ANALYSIS

This is a landmark moment. For years people said “women’s Test cricket doesn’t matter”. India just proved it does.

Winning at Lord’s with a young batting line-up + experienced spinners shows India’s red-ball depth. Mandhana-Rodrigues partnership was textbook. Deepti-Rana spin combo is now world’s best in Tests.

Next Match:    2nd Test starts 8 August 2026 at Old Trafford
