ICC WORLD CUP 2027 VENUES ANNOUNCED: 12 STADIUMS ACROSS SOUTH AFRICA, ZIMBABWE AND NAMIBIA


Dates: 4 October – 21 November 2027 | "Three Nations, One Heartbeat"


The ICC has officially unveiled the 12 venues for the *2027 ODI World Cup* in a ceremony in Johannesburg on 30 July 2026. For the first time since 2003, the World Cup returns to Africa. 

South Africa will host the bulk of games, with Zimbabwe and Namibia also getting matches.

All 8 grounds were also used in the 2003 World Cup

 34,000 Hosted 2003 WC Final + 2007 T20 WC Final

       2.Newlands Cricket Ground Cape Town

 25,000 Backdrop of Table Mountain. Hosted 2023 Women's T20 WC Final

       3.SuperSport Park Centurion, Pretoria

 22,000 Hosted 2009 Champions Trophy Final

                  4 Kingsmead Durban

 25,000 Semi-final venue in 2003 WC + 2007 T20 WC

                5.St George's Park Gqeberha

19,000 SA's oldest Test ground. Hosted 2003 WC Semi-final

              6.Mangaung Oval Bloemfontein

                    20,000 CAPACITY

                   7.Boland ParkPaarl

                     10,000 CAPACITY 

    8.Buffalo Park KuGompo City, East London

                     16,000 CAPACITY


              ZIMBABWE - 3 Venues

   Harare Sports Club.    Harare.    10,000 

   Queens Sports Club.  Bulawayo. 12,500 

   Mosi-oa-Tunya International Cricket Stadium.     Victoria Falls.    10,000.  "Brand new stadium nearing completion, expected Aug 2026"


Zimbabwe will host 8-10 games 


               NAMIBIA - 1 Venue

Namibia Cricket Ground.   Windhoek.  7,000

Namibia will host 3 matches. This will be the first time Namibia hosts a Cricket World Cup

2. Dropped Venues:    Benoni, Potchefstroom and Kimberley hosted in 2003 but were not included for 2027
